Ministries & Programs
Seven ways NCE lives out the love of Christ — from prayer to plumbing, from the pulpit to the pharmacy.
01 — Prayer & Worship
A direct line to God.
Prayer is viewed as a direct line of communication with God, allowing believers to express their adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplications. Worship helps foster this connection by reminding believers of God's greatness, love and faithfulness — drawing them closer to their Creator.
Impact: Three local churches across Masisi territory and Goma, gathering more than 700 members in regular prayer and worship.

02 — Evangelism & Outreach
Reaching the unreachable.
NCE reaches out to the unreachable in war zones and different communities, teaching and guiding new believers and leaders to grow in their faith by practicing the word of God — the great commission according to Matthew 28:19-20 and 2 Timothy 2:2.
Impact: Ongoing training sessions reaching believers and leaders in remote villages and displacement areas.

03 — Leadership Development
Servant-leaders for a transformed community.
NCE trains leaders in servant-leadership, ethics, and community transformation — equipping the next generation to guide churches, schools and relief efforts with integrity.
Impact: Feeds into the 2 Timothy 2:2 Bible College and NCE's wider outreach and training network.

04 — Justice
There is no development without justice.
As believers, NCE practices justice and teaches it to the next generation: feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give water to the thirsty, and heal the sick. NCE has learned that transforming the community requires love expressed toward those in need — advocacy for the rights of vulnerable families, girls and children amidst insecurity.
Impact: Direct outreach and advocacy within displacement camps in Goma and Masisi.

05 — Community Development & Relief
Feeding, clothing, and rebuilding.
NCE wants to reach thousands of children (girls and boys under 15) affected by war in Goma and Masisi, providing relief and recovery resources to villages — reaching more than a thousand people in desperate need each day. A current construction project aims to build 6 concrete classrooms to host 500 children.
Impact: Distribution of tarpaulins, water containers, buckets, food and hygiene supplies to displaced families; ongoing classroom and church construction.

06 — Mental Health & Psychosocial Care
Healing what cannot be seen.
Decades of war leave both visible and invisible wounds. NCE's mental health and psychosocial care addresses trauma among women, children and marginalised families, working alongside prayer and community support to foster genuine healing.
Program note: NCE provides mental health and psychosocial care for women, children and families recovering from trauma, combining prayer, counselling and community support.
Mental health support07 — Community Hubs
Safe spaces for prayer, education and empowerment.
Community Hubs bring NCE's ministries together under one roof — safe spaces where families access prayer, schooling, and empowerment programs like the Esther Project, close to home.
Impact: The NCE Celebration Center serves as a gathering place where "God's heart is displayed and exhibited to the desperate and hungry for the Living Word of God."
